The fourth roundtable meeting will take place on March 26 and 27, 2019.
The agenda for the this roundtable focused on reviewing the draft policy that was prepared by the drafting group and provide direction for finalizing the draft policy.
Meeting objectives
- To come to agreement on draft wetland policy goal.
- To decide the overall intent of Objective 2 for balancing the ecological, cultural, and economic values of wetlands.
- To confirm direction on other policy objectives.
- Confirm approach to ‘Indigenous context’ in the policy - is a specific section the best approach, and what should it say?
